Spiral Bind, Edge Protection and PVC Tubing

Introduction

Spiral Bind is a thermoplastic tubing which is spiral cut. Spiral bind is a cable management product used to tidy up data and telecom cables and wires around the office and home. It is also suitable for cables harnesses for keeping individual wires together during assembly. It offers mechanical protection and colour coding for hydraulic and pneumatic hoses.

For high temperature applications, i.e. above 70°C, request TSB-X, which is a cross-linked version designed to operate at 120°C.

Edge protection strip/grommet is produced from flexible PVC material and is suitable for use in applications where protection is required against sharp edges, including panels and enclosures that have been cut to route and cable through.

PVC tubing is a specially formulated polyvinylchloride tubing designed for continuous operation in the -15°C to +70°C temperature range. The thin wall makes it suitable for use in any harness and electronic assembly applications, including automotive, slot machines, mining equipment and industrial equipment. Also used for colour coding of cables.
